Why is this study being done:
We are doing this study to investigate the effects of video-guided acupuncture imagery treatment (VGAIT) on chronic low back pain. Acupuncture is a needling treatment that has been used for many years to help relieve pain. Imagery is also a commonly used therapeutic method for pain disorders. However, the underlying mechanisms of these treatments remain unknown.
How long it will take:

Will I be paid to take part in this research study:
We will mail you a check for taking part in this study. You should receive the check about 4-6 weeks after completing the final study visit. You will receive $8 per session and $20 upon completion for a possible total of $100.
